Prairie Crossing offers many amenities to the larger community, as well as Prairie Crossing residents. Click below to learn about the following:

• Byron Colby Barn – concerts and other events to foster lifelong learning and a sense of community. The Barn is also available for private rentals
• Prairie Crossing Farm – educational programs and events along with multiple farm businesses who provide organic vegetables and more to Chicagoland customers
• Prairie Crossing Charter School – environmentally focused public charter school to which Prairie Crossing homeowners and others may apply
• Station Square – unique collection of businesses and a café on Route 137 immediately across from the Prairie Crossing Metra Station
• Liberty Prairie Reserve – approximately 5,000 acres in central Lake County, over half of which is protected by public and private landowners to preserve open space
