Walker Johnson

Walker Johnson, of Johnson Lasky Architects in Chicago, is an award-winning architect with more than 40 years of specialized experience in historic preservation. He oversaw the restoration of the one-room Wright Schoolhouse, which was moved to Prairie Crossing, where it became the first classroom building of the Prairie Crossing Charter School and is now the Victoria Post Ranney Environmental Library. He also designed the water pump house that serves the entire community from its highly visible location west of the Byron Colby Barn.
